Living with a 1973 Firebird Vintage Car and Having a Great Time While Learning a Thing or Two

by admin on July 2, 2009

We’re already looking forward to next year.
Carmen and I have relied on our 1973 Firebird now for nearly 4 years. In that time we’ve been very happy with the car. The condo is in rural Texas, near Cee Vee, and we enjoy driving in the car during the hotter months. My opinion is I’d say it’s a stunning vehicle for the money.

From the day we picked up the Firebird we’ve been all over the country. We took it out for a spin to see my wife’s college roommate in Montana several times without any issues. The Firebird does fair on gas and has not given us alot problems in terms of maintenance.

The Firebird is in driving condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past twenty years. Our previous car, a Saturn, had plenty of issues and we weren’t depressed to unload it.

The first order of the day was to insure the vehicle. For our antique car insurance we went with a company called Haggerty. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on car insurance. It’s a cool place for finding the best offer on insurance for antique cars. We insured the Firebird for a sliver of what Geico wanted.

The insurance reviews was just in time because within a month of getting it we were involved in a horrible accident with a Chevrolet. The accident totalled both cars. Our Haggerty insurance agent reached out and let us know the car would be gotten back to us without problems! It was a relief because of our investment to the car.

The value of the car has gone up a lot over the past three years to our surprise. It’s hard to believe we paid $13,000 for the car back in 1995. Now it’s worth at least $35,000! We’ve been offered this much several times this year. My wife is very excited!

Now is the time to find a car you enjoy! Go out and don’t hesitate, there’s a world of good condition Firebirds out there. Buy a Firebird now before the price goes up! You won’t be sorry.

Nissan 370z. The mini sportster is back.

by plrpro on July 2, 2009

Well, Nissan designers have done it again. They’ve taken a beautiful car, the 370z coupe, and taken the lid off, literally. While the design is a clear evolution of the 350z others might not warm up to the new look as much as Nissan hoped they would. Coming in at a very affordable $29,930 (base model) price will make this a very popular purchase for Nissan lovers around the world this summer when it rolls onto dealerships.

The 2010 Nissan 370z is not simply the old “boxy” style coupe without the top, however. The entire care itself has been redesigned for a sleeker, smoother ride and a lot of little features that add up to a great new car are included. Nissan has made many key changes to the car’s chassis to ensure that it remains one of the best sports cars on the road for today’s consumers. Body structure has been reinforced to reduce torsional bending common in most convertibles. Sell my car.  They also included interior side supports that make this car handle well while taking corners. The convertible soft-top itself can be raised or lowered in only 20 seconds by using a special trigger located on the door handles, a unique feature not seen in any other model today. Both the driver and the passenger can put down the soft top.

As for vehicle performance, this new model has a powerful but not over the top 3.Seven liter v6 unit that unfortunately accelerates the car in 8.0 seconds acceleration from 0 to 62. Drivers should not dispair as this car can reach a respectable top speed of 175 mph. How about blowing that hair piece away onto the road?

This is a beautiful modern looking car as well. When it debuted at the New York Best of Shows this spring, the car was a stunning addition to a mostly European dominated luxury and sports car market. It looks authentic and feels the part too aswell as being budget friendly. Renault Clio for sale. Bling mobile at work? Not really but the 370z does have a few gizmos.Bluetooth Hands-free,heating and cooling ventilated net seats, advanced Nissan Navigation System and satellite radio. And it comes in over 23 color combinations from classic Nissan colors like silver to more subtle earth tones and shades. This car is sure to turn heads with the neighbors if you buy one, and no one will ever have to know you paid less than $30 K for it as it looks like a car that’s worth a million bucks.

Merc C Class For Sale.Should you be on a budget Nissan has a car that can please you without being cheap. The looks are not that bad, there are descent features and good safety. So the car is reasonable then.

Learn How To Drive A Porsche

by plrpro on July 1, 2009

Many people imagine themselves driving their dream sports car. They picture the moments of receiving the keys, slipping into the driver’s seat and speeding off into the sunset. Unfortunately, this image may be a bit warped. Most expensive luxury sports cars take a bit of getting used to before you can actually drive them! Most of these vehicles even require a training course before you are allowed to operate the vehicle. These masterpiece motor vehicles are normally extremely powerful, reaching jaw-dropping speeds. Put that into the wrong hands and it could spell disaster.

The lovely thing with Porsche is that they offer specialized driving courses in every country. Although not compulsory, it is advisable that you take a training course before driving your Porsche car. If you want to enjoy the maximum pleasure out of your beloved new Porsche, you should learn how to drive it properly. Taking the Porsche driving course will allow you to familiarize yourself with your vehicle; they also teach you how to handle the car in different weather conditions. There are various levels in the driving course, starting from Pre-Level to Precision. Their range of driving courses goes from driving a Porsche just for women, as well as off-road and icy weather condition training.

The Porsche cars training course can be taken by drivers operating any type of sports motor vehicle. The course basically assists you in learning how to operate a very fast, powerful vehicle, so even if you do not drive a Porsche, it will help your sports car driving abilities greatly.

The good news is that even Porsche car enthusiasts who cannot afford to buy a Porsche can still drive one! For an extra charge, that is not as expensive as you think, you can take the course and hire a Porsche to drive on the course for the day. This means you can drive the car of your dreams whilst at the same time acquiring an important skill!

Getting your Next Car

by plrpro on July 1, 2009

Real life auctions are held almost every year. Cars as well as other items are sold at these auctions. You can find great deal of later model cars at a reasonable price. Since car auctions are held by the government every year, try looking for them at a nearby area. Second hand or old model cars are good money savers. But before you can buy a used car, determine whether the car is usable or not but try to find cars that are still in a good condition. Internet lists many websites and places where real life car auctions take place. Prior to purchase, find some information on the choice of cars. Another valuable source is the local newspaper which comes with endless car auction advertisements.

These car auctions sell cars ranging from high to low price. Here you may also find products like boat, motorcycles, electronics, and other items. You can get new and crysler lhs and other preferable models. Joining one of these real life auctions is the best way to get household items at a reasonable price. Before you make a choice of a car, make sure it is the right car that you are buying. Check if there is a possible damage, warranty etc. These real life car auctions usually don’t come with a warranty but make sure to look for them. Compare prices to see what these are worth of. These come without RWC so keep track of what you are spending.

Before placing a bid, keep a fair price and make sure you end up owning it. You may otherwise end up disappointed. See to it that your payment is ready because mostly they deliver you the car within two or three days after payment is made. If you are not familiar with car parts and cannot determine the car’s efficiency, do not choose a car in that case. Take some one to help you with these. Before driving your car, more or less repair might be required. Finalize everything keeping these in mind.

1972 Was a Good Year For El Dorado : Or Getting Dirty in My Collector Car

by admin on July 1, 2009

The classic car of your dreams is out there Go out and don’t hesitate, there’s a world of cheap El Dorados out there. Buy a El Dorado now before the price goes up! You won’t be sorry.

We’re already looking forward to next year.
Robert and I have lived with our 1972 El Dorado now for just about 3 years. I’m glad to report we’ve been thrilled with the car. Our condo is in western Iowa, near Franklin, and we love touring in the car during the warmer months. Our opinion is I’d say it’s a particlarly great toy for the money.

From the day we picked up the El Dorado we’ve been behind the wheel. We drove to visit my college roommate in Vermont many times over the year. The El Dorado does fair on gas and has not given us alot issues in terms of service.

The El Dorado is in good condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken it upon themselves to fix it up over the past 18 years. Our previous car, a Roewe, had plenty of headaches and we weren’t depressed to sell it off.

It was made clear to me to get classic car insurance on the vehicle. For our muscle car insurance we went with a company called Hagerty. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on insurance reviews. It’s a cool place for finding the best deal on classic car insurance. We insured the El Dorado for a fraction of what Nationwide wanted.

We’ve very happy with our El Dorado. While 1972 was a long time ago, our car helps us redo those days.

My wife and I Entered the 1951 AMX in a Car Show and Took First Place

by admin on July 1, 2009

My wife and I entered a small show-n-shine here in Louisburg, Kansas. It was put together by the local Councilperson by the name of Tom Lymar. The Councilperson is a movie fan from way back, having a small part in the film “G’Day LA”. A love of cars was grown over the years.

I entered my 1951 AMX in the car show with the intention of having a good time. I spent four hours getting the AMX. I had done my car history search on the AMX by going over to vin number checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Based on the excellent information I found that my AMX was exceedingly rare!

I entered my car and took first place! | was in total shock that my little old AMX drew so much attention. Next year I might go for a national championship.
