Electric bikes are a joke

by plrpro on November 30, 2009

Putting aside for a moment that electric racing motorcycles are about as exciting as watching astroturf grow, your electric bike articles were short-circuited to say the least.  The best electric motor in the world may be 94% efficient, but when you subtract the heat thrown off by the controller and other losses, the efficiency drops to 80% or less.Current is a factory that produces about 40% efficiency. It is then on the electricity grid, which is less than 85% transfer efficiency due to losses.  Therefor, the net efficiency of an electric bicycle or car is about 25%, very similar to a gasoline engine.

So the electric bikes might be “carrying” the equivalent of 1.3 gallons of gas, but they’ve actually consumed the equivalent of 5 gallons to get around the Isle of Man.I could go around the Isle five times wide open on a 250cc supermoto on that much gas!  It will take 20 years to develop batteries with enough energy density to make a practical electric motorcycle or a folding electric bike.

Let’s use electricity to generate hydrogen and have some explosively fast bikes if we must participate in this green charade!

Electric cars (and bikes) are a joke.  They only exist due to fear and confusion about “global warming”, a non-problem if there ever was one.Fear of carbon?  Get real.A basic understanding of meteorology and the atmosphere show that the man has no significant impact on the climate - take the time to read about it - you’ll be surprised. Our food supply grows with it,carbon is not evil.  Global warming is not evil,it just makes North Dakota more comfortable in the winter.I’m just a person who has researched the carbon hype and found it to be mostly a pack of lies,I don’t work for an oil company.

Cars For Sale Area - How Used in

by plrpro on November 30, 2009

“Where can I find used cars for sale in my area?” This is the questions that everyone who are looking to buy used cars as a means of meeting their transportation needs without spending too much money would always ask first. Of course, when purchasing a car, you wouldn’t want to be traveling beyond your convenient places and as such, you need a seller who’s located near where you are. However, sometimes, this isn’t the easiest thing to do as it’s hard to tell when the local bank is going to auction off used cars or when a private seller might be doing the same thing. But there are ways to make your search easier. Here I will share how I would find Ebay Cars For Sale in my area.

How can you make searching for second hand cars that are for sale in your area? Well, you can begin with your local paper as they are most likely to contain announcements or some form of advertisement announcing car sales and auctions. This would be a great way for you to begin your search because it would surely come complete with information such as the time and place of the auction. If the number of the auctioneer is listed together with the advertisement, it would be wise to give them a call to ask for the kind of cars that would be included in the sale. This is one of the first steps I would take, myself, when looking for used cars for sale in my area.

Second, you can give your local bank a call. Are you familiar with repossessed cars? Well, these are secondhand cars that were confiscated by banks or various lending institutions to cover the amount that a person has failed to pay. For example, if a person who owed the bank some money failed to comply and pay within the given schedule then the bank would then have the right to confiscate some of his or her property in order to cover their losses. Most of the time, these repossessed cars are sold at significantly lower prices because the banks need to profit from them as soon as possible. If I’m looking for used cars for sale in my area that are also significantly cheaper than most, this is the place where Ill go searching.

Last but most certainly not the least, you can also search online. Actually, most people would choose to start with this instead of the 2 mentioned above. After all, the internet can provide us with answers to most of our questions and something as simple as a used car listing within your area can most certainly be found here. I suggest searching through eBay first and then moving onwards to used car search engines. This way, you can set your preferences and conveniently browse through hundreds of listings without even leaving your home. You can browse according to make, your budget and the area where the car is located. It’s definitely the easiest way, I think, to look through used cars for sale in my area.

Read a review on an online service that contains up-to-date listing of Auction Cars For Sale and see how I managed to find Used Cars For Sell in my area.

1971 Was a Good Year For Chevy II : Or Having Fun in My Classic Car

by admin on November 30, 2009

Go out and find that special classic car Go out and don’t hesitate, there’s a world of cheap Chevy IIs out there. Buy a Chevy II now before the price goes up! You won’t regret it.

I’ve had too much fun to mention :).
Calvin and I have counted on our 1971 Chevy II now for around eleven years. The general feeling is we’ve been living well with the car. We live in rural Washington, near Fife, and we love touring in the car during the hotter months. My opinion is I’d say it’s a brilliant car for the money.

Almost from the minute we received the Chevy II we’ve been driving up a storm. We drove to visit my relatives in Vermont many times without any issues. The Chevy II does Ok on gas and has not given us many issues in terms of maintenance.

The Chevy II is in good condition, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken excellent care of the car over the past 20 years. Our previous car, a Pontiac, had plenty of issues and we weren’t depressed to sell it off.

It was very important to get insurance on the vehicle. For our classic car insurance company we went with a company called Hagerty Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on antique cars. It’s a great web site for finding the best deal on insurance for classic cars. We insured the Chevy II for a sliver of what Progressive wanted.

We’ve very happy with our Chevy II. While 1971 was a long time ago, our car helps us enjoy those days.

Living with a 1969 Chevelle Classic Car and Going Crazy While Blowing a Lot of Gas

by admin on November 30, 2009

It’s been a great year.
Ann and I have owned our 1969 Chevelle now for probably four years. The general feeling is we’ve been happy with the car. Our cottage is in western Utah, near Redmond, and we love touring in the car during the warmer months. Our opinion is I’d say it’s a stunning vehicle for the money.

From the day we picked up the Chevelle we’ve been on the road. We took it out for a spin to see my husband’s uncle in New York numerous times without any issues. The Chevelle does poorly on gas and has not given us many issues in terms of service.

The Chevelle is in rare form, having been restored in the last two years. The previous owners seem to have taken good care of it over the past 18 years. Our previous car, a Peugeot, had plenty of issues and we weren’t unhappy to get rid of it.

It was important to insure the vehicle. For our specialty car insurance we went with a company called Hagerty Insurance. We signed up for the policy completely online, using their excellent web site. We found the company by reviewing the information on old cars. It’s an authority site for finding the best price on insurance for antique cars. We insured the Chevelle for a fraction of what Prudential wanted.

The car insurance was just in time because within a month of getting it we were involved in a horrible accident with a Peugeot. The accident totalled both cars. Our Hagerty Insurance insurance agent called and let us know the car would be completely restored! It was a relief because of our attachment to the car.

The value of the car has gone up a lot over the past few years to our surprise. It’s hard to believe we paid $14,000 for the car back in 1991. Now it’s worth at least $50,000! We’ve been offered this much several times this year. My wife is very excited!

Now is the time to find a car you enjoy! Go out and don’t hesitate, there’s a world of cheap Chevelles out there. Buy a Chevelle now before the price goes up! You won’t be sorry.

Local Flights – South Africa

by plrpro on November 29, 2009

Most people think it’s not easy to book a flight in South Africa. The Airline industry in SA is so up to date flights can be booked using the internet or make reservations by phone.

There are 5 Airlines that operate within the country i.e.

· Mango
· 1Time
· South African Airways
· British Airways
· Kulula

Based on the research that I’ve conducted there are about 144 routes available locally. This is from a combination of “to and from” all the airports in the country. Some of these airports are;

· Johannesburg (JNB)
· Cape Town (CPT)
· Durban (DUR)
· Port Elizabeth (PLZ)
· George (GRJ)
· Bloemfontein (BFN)
· Kimberley (KIM)
· East London (ELS)
· Hoedspruit (HDS)
· Nelspruit (NLP)

Cape Town to Johannesburg

You can book Mango, which leaves Cape Town at 05:45 and takes about two hours to Johannesburg. Alternatively you could use 1 Time which will leave Cape Town at 06.45 hrs and arrive in Johannesburg at 08.45 hr.

The South African Airways leaves at 06:00 and gets to OR Tambo at 08:00.This and British Airways are the most expensive flights in the country. The latter lives Cape Town at 08:40 and takes two hours to get to Joburg.

Most of the time Johannesburg is the centre of all the flights in South Africa. Considering most of the routes locally you will see that they go via Johannesburg. For example, the British Airways flies from Durban to Nelspruit via Johannesburg. In fact the British Airways is the one with most stops in Joburg. Whilst the other flights have direct flights in between the different destinations across the country.

To be able to compare current fares and time tables you can check out any of the following:

You can read more information provided for you free on this blog. our aim is to help our readers get all the necessary details with ease.

My wife and I Entered the 1953 Lincoln in a Cruise-in and Had a Good Time

by admin on November 29, 2009

I took a small car cruise here in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. It was organized by the local Judge by the name of Tim Queen. The Judge is a movie fan from way back, having a small part in the film “F.I.R”. A love of cars was fostered over time.

I entered my 1953 Lincoln in the show ‘n shine with the intention of impressing my friends :). I spent quite a bit of time getting the Lincoln. I had done my research on the Lincoln by going over to VIN checker for a check at the accuracy of the car. Because of the detailed data there I found that my Lincoln was very rare!

I ended up taking home a first place trophy! | was completely shocked that my little old Lincoln had done so well the first time out. Next year I might enter it in a state-wide show.

The Lucerne is value priced

by plrpro on November 28, 2009

The venerable Buick Park Avenue is no more, having been replaced by the all new Buick Lucerne, a down market version of the Cadillac DTS. With a 275-hp Northstar V8 engine, the Lucerne becomes the 1st Buick auto in virtually a decade to arrive supplied with a V8. The entire Buick line up is in the midst of being overhauled, so let’s take a look at this make’s newest flagship and see how it performs a part in GM’s overall strategy.

If you are a fan of the Buick brand you have witnessed your justifiable share of changes over the last five years. Gone are the Park Avenue, LeSabre, Century, and Regal, and in its place are the Rendezvous, the Rainier, LaCrosse, Terrazza, and the Lucerne. All the changes are the results of General Motors’ broad realignment plan in the wake of retiring the Oldsmobile brand, lifting Saturn into the fold, and setting strategy to challenge against the nonstop attack of foreign brands including Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, and Infiniti.

One observe the Buick and you will notice a powerful similarity to the Cadillac DTS. The Buick’s oval grille sets it aside from the Cadillac’s firm nose, but a cursory examination of the body lines tells you that these cars are in fact twins. In the past, Buicks were fundamentally “stripped down” versions of Cadillacs, while Oldsmobile and Pontiac were more splendid or sportier versions of Chevrolet models. Clearly, GM is repositioning Buick to have a more distinct “near luxury” look without stepping on Cadillac’s toes, while giving the Buick division a much needed replacement for the aging Park Avenue.

For the auto client, the Lucerne is price priced, arriving at in showrooms at just under 27K. With a standard 3.8 V6, the automaker can claim decent fuel mileage of 19 m.p.g town and twenty-eight m.p.g road. In these days of hyped up gas prices, favorable fuel economy is an enthusiastic selling tool, but expect many buyers to opt for the ultra robust Northstar V8 instead. Why? Because, if they want to purchase a Buick, they likely will need the power to go together with the luxury. It is still to be seen how well the V6 operates in a car that is 203 inches long and weighing in at nearly two tons.

Standard kit for the Lucerne comprises the following : power windows, door locks, and mirrors ; side curtain air bags for the front seat; theft deterrent system; OnStar; keyless entry ; and more.

The optional equipment list is expansive and can simply drive the beginning cost of the top of the line CSX to over 35K. For that price you receive heated power seats with lumbar support; a memory package that adjusts the seats, mirrors, radio, and climate control to each driver’s directions ; sport leather wheel with built in controls ; and more.

A completely loaded Lucerne is still many thousand dollars less than the DTS, making the Lucerne a value leader in the luxurious vehicle class. Still, Buick has its work cut out for it as competition from foreign brands including Acura, BMW, and Lexus continue to hammer away at GM’s “near luxury” division. Fortunately, quality levels for all Buicks remain extremely high so mixing that level of success with a powerful price may help the Lucerne compete admirably.

Is there a best mlm company

by plrpro on November 28, 2009

If you are involved in network marketing you always wonder is there a best mlm company.  Usually unless you have experienced massive success you wonder about that? The main cause that people are left wondering about that is because the success they want has not been achieved. So within this article we are going to examine to find out if you can answer that question.

So the question we want to answer is the question of whether or not there is a best mlm company. To put it bluntly, of course there will be a best company.  There will always be companies run better than others.  But if the real reason a person is asking that question is because they haven’t had success. Then going out and finding the best network marketing companies are going to be of no help.  Success isn’t based upon how good a company is.  Success is based upon how good you are.Or to put it another way, how willing are you to become good at it.Because if you hope to become good at anything you realize it will require work.

One thing you have to get good at is learning hot to generate an MLM network marketing lead.Leads are crucial to any and all sales types of businesses.  Well network marketing is no different.  If you are unable to learn how to generate mlm leads you are doomed for failure.  But on the other hand if you can learn how to generate an MLM network marketing lead you will experience massive success.

So in summary, yes of course there are good mlm companies. Some are going to be better than others. But if the best MLM is something you are looking for because you think it will help in success.  You will fail miserably in your home based business network marketing.Success will be based entirely on what you do.If the work is something you are willing to do, then you can have success. You just need to go out and get it.
