eBay Motorcars Auction Sale Winds

by plrpro on January 31, 2010

Well most of you know me from free eBay codes but lately I have gotten a ton of emails asking for some advice on buying a car on eBay. Well to be honest I didn’t have a lot of answers but I went to my friend who is and eBay cars expert. He was able to help me out a lot and gave me a ton of eBay cars auction tips that I will share with you.

There are several points to consider when thinking about buying eBay cars. I will list them out here and hopefully if the time comes for you to make a decision on eBay cars these tips will help you out.

1.       You want to browse for the items you may be interested in.

2.       Once you find some eBay cars you may be interested in do some further searches.

3.       It’s important to learn about the items you are looking at.

4.       This is a very important tip. Learn about the seller.

5.       Figure out how much money you have to spend and estimate all your costs.

6.       Look into the protection programs that eBay has in place when purchasing eBay cars.

7.       Now you want to make sure you’re registered with eBay.

8.       The time has come to start bidding or maybe even buy now.

9.       Once you have the sale finalized you will have to pay the seller.

10.   You are going to have to arrange the shipping for your purchase.

11.   Finally you have to make sure the title gets changed from the seller to yourself.

Now I know this is a very brief outline of eBay cars auction tips but I only wrote it to give you a general direction to head into. In the very near future I will be writing articles to expand on all the topics I just mentioned above. The one thing to always remember with eBay cars is buyer beware.

I have been very fortunate in the fact that I have built a very nice living off of the internet. Doing this also allows me to help people with some issues that may arise.

In the last few months many of you have met me and know me as the Free eBay code lady.

Well because of that frenzy I had several emails with suggestions on how to buy eBay cars. So once again, I did my research, talked to the experts and have come up with several great tips to help you make your buying eBay cars experience much more comfortable.

Selecting From The Numerous Styles Of Sturdy Light Truck Tires

by plrpro on January 31, 2010

The lift of a tire will depend upon a range of different factors including tire type, driving style, and the road and weather conditions the tire is exposed to.  Even top of the range tires will at last need to be replaced.  The type of tires that you select will depend upon the sort of car you drive and the conditions that you see most frequently.  There are many different popular truck tire brands including Dunlop, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, and Michelin.  They may each have their own advantages and drawbacks and come in a wide range of prices.

If you have a truck you will probably need to have a look for light truck tires.  Regular all season light truck tires are a good selection for regular paved road riving.  They are sometimes designed to give you solid performance in a variety of different road conditions.  All terrain wagon tires are designed for use on both paved roads and light duty off road driving.  They give you extra traction that can be beneficial on both unpaved roads and wet or snowing conditions.

When buying light truck tires your first concern should be safety.  Look for tires that perform well in the areas of handling, braking, and resistance to hydroplaning.  When you chop down your selection based on these standards you can think about things like ride, comfort, and noise.  Bear in mind the manufacturer’s warranty will not always be a correct account of how it’s possible for you to expect the tires to wear.  Always make sure you read the footnotes of the guaranty through thoroughly.  Usually the guaranty for tires will be pro-rated so you will get a smaller replacement credit if you have more miles on the tires.  Most warranties will only cover damage to the tire due to normal use conditions and won’t cover damage caused by extraordinary road hazards.

18 Simple Ways to Save Money on Your Car

by plrpro on January 30, 2010

The upkeep of your vehicle, just like your southern house floor plans, can be quite an expense - from initial purchase to insurance to maintenance. And sometimes we get the sinking feeling that every time we need a car repair, we’re going to get taken for a ride. (pardon the pun!) Actually there are some ways to make sure you don’t get a raw deal when dealing with a local body shop.

After you get recommendations for honest mechanics, call around to check out the prices for certain jobs. It’s always smart to get a second opinion.

How about some preventative medicine? Keep your gas tank filled. This will help you avoid the gas line freezing up in cold weather. Also, driving on “fumes” allows little pieces of dirt at the bottom of your gas tank to run through the fuel lines with the last drops of gas. This debris clogs up the fuel filter and can cause carburetor damage as well.

Sometimes a problem with your car’s electrical system results from a simple blown fuse. Check to see if you have any blown fuses before investing in a tow truck!

Keep track of how much oil your car uses. A sudden change in oil consumption means you need to see a technician.

Save your brakes by having your brake fluid changed every 30,000 miles.

Check your tire pressure once a month. This simple maintenance check can add up savings at the gas pump!

Stop and go traffic causes excess wear and tear on your vehicle. Go ahead and give your car a nice twenty minute ride at 55 mph on the highway every couple weeks if you “major” in short trips.

There are other ways to save money on car expenses. Let’s look at the insurance payments.

If you’ve budgeted for possible out-of-pocket expenses in case of a car accident, you might want to consider increasing your insurance deductible to $500. This will lower the cost of your insurance.

Talk to your insurance agent. If your car is as old as the hills, you might want to drop collision coverage to save money.

Car insurance companies offer a variety of discounts. Ask your agent if the company offers reductions for driver training courses, anti-lock brakes, car alarms, air bags, mature drivers, good students or maintaining a good driving record.

Before you purchase from a dealer, ask about the dealer’s return policy, get it in writing and read it carefully. Dealers are not required by law to give used car buyers a three-day right to cancel.

Visit www.fueleconomy.gov to find cars that are fuel efficient.

Each 5 mph you drive over 60 mph is like paying an additional $0.10 per gallon for gas.

In most cases, using cruise control on the highway will save gas.

Replacing a clogged air filter can improve your car’s gas mileage by as much as 10 percent. This isn’t going to cost you an arm or leg either.

Just like buying new house floor plans, do your homework when buying a car from an auction. Many vehicles that have been damaged by floods and hurricanes are going on the market. These won’t last long – leaving you with a flood of bills. Be a little concerned if the carpet looks too new, and check carefully for signs of rust.

Carfax.com shares info on inspecting a used car to make sure you get the best deal.

If you use your car for business, keep track of miles traveled so that you can use this for a tax deduction. Get more info at irs.gov.

When you consider all the ways you can save money on your current vehicle, you might be persuaded to put away the extra each month for a new car down the road!

Diesel Trucks For Sale - Interested In Trucks, Basic Angels On How To Act On It

by plrpro on January 30, 2010

Used tow trucks for sale - Best Choice for Most Businesses

In these difficult economic times many industries are on the lookout for methods to tighten their belts without crimping their plans for growth. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the electric, information, telecommunication, construction and arborist industries where the need for quality used kit such as bucket trucks, forestry wagons, digger derricks and other specialized use autos could mean the difference between going under or keeping a business up and running.

Bucket wagons come in numerous sizes and shapes. And each one of them are customised for specific job necessities. Although the most ordinarily used bucket van are those employed by utility companies for power linemen, the variety of options available can transform a basic framework into any one of a number of job specific tools from a simple ‘cherry picker’ to a 2-man platform boom crane. The bad news about bucket vans is that the value of purchasing another one customized to your specifications might be out of most company’s budget range. The good new about bucket vans is that they are built to last, and buying a top notch reconditioned, low-mileage used bucket is an experienced way to get the equipment you want at a cost that will fit into the budget.

After you make the decision that you’re in the marketplace for a bucket wagon, the hard part is finding the right dealer with the right model that suits your wishes. The Net is a good beginning place. Just type in what you’re attempting to find and any quantity of search engines will bring up a long list of vans. But then what? How are you able to tell a sweet deal on a quality used automobile from a potential nightmare? Well, now that you know where to look, the trick is ensuring the lorry meets all of the safety standards, set by OSHA, for your specific needs .

Fed. guidelines require that application cars such as bucket trucks comply with thorough safety standards based primarily on the type of work that the truck will be used for. More often than not the wagons are at dealerships that are outside the state and an individual inspection of a specific truck is out of the question. This is where the reputation of the dealer becomes active. Are the dealers well informed regarding your wishes or are they just trying to move inventory. Some dealers, like I80, even offer video feeds and detailed photo galleries that showcase specific vans to make your decision less complicated. A vital question to ask is : Has the truck been meticulously inspected and reconditioned? The proven fact that there are so many customizable options available on used application autos, it is vital to learn as much about old bucket trucks as you can before you make a purchase .

But an organization that does it homework right can drive away with a vehicle that meets or even surpasses its wants at an acceptable cost.

Why Is Keystone Outback #1: 3 Reasons

by plrpro on January 30, 2010

Keystone Outback Travel Trailer

There are a lot of travel trailers on the market today and they all have good features. The Keystone Outback is the number one selling travel trailer in the industry according to RVIA. Here are three reasons why this is true.

The first reason is the towability of the Outback. With 1 ½” box welded aluminum frame and a fully laminated fiberglass sidewall, The Outback by Keystone is the lite-weight giant of the RV industry. The construction features combined with the one piece enclosed and heated under-belly means that Outback is the most aerodynamic RV on the road. This translates into the fact that even the largest Outback Travel Trailer can be towed safely by your standard half ton pickup or full size SUV. The Keystone Outback is truly the easiest towing travel trailer in the country.

The second reason the Outback is number one is the interior appointments. There is not another travel trailer in this class that offers the luxury of LCD TVs, real wood cabinets, flush floor slide-outs and optional King Sized Beds. Every Outback is equipped with a full kitchen and so much storage you will never run out of room. Your guests will never again have to sleep with a metal bar in their back because the sleeper sofa has a full queen size air mattress. Combined with the u shaped dinette, Outback provides much more comfort and living space than all other trailers in its class. The most livable lite-weight you can own is the Keystone Outback. It’s just that simple.

Reason number three is the affordability of the Outback Travel Trailer. There are cheaper trailers out there to be honest. However, none of those other trailers have the features of the Keystone Outback. Other manufacturers save money by scrimping on the construction and interior luxuries and claim to be just as good as the Outback. The fact is pound for pound and dollar for dollar, they just cannot compete. When you compare apples to apples in terms of construction, aerodynamics and interior luxuries, there is no other travel trailer on the road that you can pull with a half ton vehicle that offers the amenities of the Outback. The Outback is a lite-weight travel trailer that is truly affordable for every family and every budget. But don’t just take my word for it, stop your local Keystone Outback RV Dealer and see for yourself why the Outback is number one and will stay there for many years to come.

The Carry Sized GPS

by plrpro on January 29, 2010

Supplementary portable orientation functions replaces the regular graphic display device in the new Palm GPS, which generates good conditions for personal navigation and lots of system applications. Lots of Palm GPS products have large displays, quick processors and plenty of memory space. The Palm thus ranges between a stand alone GPS unit and a device that needs computer or laptop connection. The combination of Palm and GPS enjoys worldwide appreciation particularly among hikers. Some softwares are not compatible with GPS devices even if they incorporate a navigation system.

You should be aware of such differences before buying something really cheap. Depending on the Palm GPS design, some run on advanced programs with good hardwares and softwares too. It is of paramount importance to check the product features and test them in order to decide whether a certain Palm GPS is a match for personal needs. For older Palm models that use serial ports, a special adaptation to the GPS device will be necessary but the procedure is neither difficult nor costly. The Palm GPS should have some memory support for maps and this is usually achieved by using external palm hardware configurations. The eventual incompatibilities can be noticed when checking for the software support.

The Palm GPS software could also require adaptations or changes, and it’s best to prevent such cases by making smart product choices. Vendors usually allow for convincing verifications, but in case you are not satisfied, it would be hard to analyze a Palm GPS compatibility without professional assistance. A Palm GPS could be of great help for all categories of travelers, whether you ride the car or you go hiking. The constant possibility to navigate at ease and receive information in real time represents an advantage more and more people enjoy.

Finally, older users of Palm GPS versions should inquire about the possibility to make updates and improve the technical performance of the items. This is sometimes only partly possible because of the specificity of the Palm and the compatibility of the GPS model with the updates. Usually, producers take into consideration this issue of compatibility with older designs whenever a new model is launched, but the customer often has to buy a new Palm GPS configuration instead of trying to update the older variant.

The Small Sized GPS

The Coolest Sunglasses For You

by plrpro on January 29, 2010

Poor quality, that is what comes with cheap sunglasses. Low standards are not a problem with reputed brand names because their best sunglasses represent a continuation of tradition and the preservation of good reputation. What people don’t know is that cheap eyewear could cause a lot of damage to the eyes. Dark lenses cause a dilation of the pupil, if there are no anti-UV protective features, then the ultraviolets and the infrareds become very dangerous for the eye. Sight impairment, crystalline dysfunctions and cataract could be among the severest consequences of the exposure to radiations.

Image distortion is one other flaw of poor quality sunglasses. The best sunglasses will not pose problems in terms of dioptric values although a doctor’s opinion may be needed. A further criterion to appreciate the quality of the best sunglasses is by comfort and face match. Physiognomy plays an important role in the choice of sunglasses, and you will understand the difference between matching and not-matching glasses by trying several pairs on. Then, besides UV protection, the best sunglasses also reduce the glare by the anti-polarizing coating that covers the lenses.

Can we select the best sunglasses by color too? Well, opinions differ here. The capacity to reduce light intensity and absorb the colors of the visible spectrum varies with the color. Not anyone can wear dark lenses for instance because they can reduce visibility: gray is usually preferred by drivers, pilots and many other users. The best efficiency in terms of radiation absorption features is that of green lenses, but green makes it hard to distinguish between colors. Greeninterferes with the perception of violet, blue, red and orange. Nevertheless, when you are on vacation in some exotic location, green lenses make the best sunglasses, plus, this color has a very relaxing effect too.

Warm and cold environments are perfect for both cold and warm environments as well, and radiations are very well absorbed. Yellow lenses on the other hand are not useful against intense brightness but are great for foggy weather or driving at sunset. Protection and comfort, these is what the best sunglasses should provide. Wraparounds have superior features too because they prevent the UV rays to affect vision on the sides of the eyes. Consequently, the properties of the lenses and the eye protection should justify a high price, and not fanciful frames.

Getting A New Car In The Recession

by plrpro on January 28, 2010

For people living inside the UK it has been a very tough year for looking into buying a new car, could this solve your problems. The problem is that a lot of the companies are refusing to take down their prices at the moment as they are banging on about how bad the pound is, they wonder why they are having to cut jobs.

This means that companies such as Ford are actually putting up their prices rather than decreasing them and they are set to raise them again this time a £10,000 car will now set you back a whopping £11,300 which is a major increase on the cost of a car.

Is there anything that can be done to stop all of this? Well nationwidevehiclecontractsare actually offering people £100 discount on every single car leasing contract they have on their site which is simply astounding when you think about it.

So now there is no need at all to worry about getting that new car as you can now rest assured that at least you are going to be saving a small amount on that BMW Lease.

Of course it is not just the cars that this offer is going out to but all of the vans that can be found via the cheap van leasing. One of the best things about leasing either a van or a car is that in most cases it is easily the cheapest way of actually getting a new car which is of course why people do it.

So whatever you choose to do this year make sure that you know exactly which option to take when it comes to choosing your brand new car or van. You could of course go out to the main guys and ask see how much more you would have to pay or you could ignore the annpying salesmen and just take it online.

The choice is yours!

In defence of the electric bicycle

by plrpro on January 28, 2010

It’s hard to read the faces of puffing cyclists as I glide past – but I think they are a mixture of envy and contempt. As one of the small but growing band of electric bicycles I’m used to being publicly derided. Not by added cyclists, who are about too affable (or slow) to comment, but by cycling friends, abashed that I accept burst ranks with the attempt of human-powered transport.

I justify my ownership of an electric bike by explaining that last year’s onset of Guillain Barré Syndrome (an auto-immune disorder that causes muscle weakness) has left me unable to pedal back up the steep hills that lead to my house. That, I insist, is the reason I have invested in a £1,200 Wisper 905 Sport.

In fact, the truth is that I’ve always resented the last couple of miles home while I greatly enjoy cycling. The Wisper means I now always cycle into central London, rather than taking the bus or tube, because I know my return journey will be a pleasure rather than a chore. I may be pedalling less on each journey, but I’m cycling five times as often.

Of course, no one would comment if I were riding a moped. It’s only because the device is masquerading as a bike that people think it’s odd for it to be partly electric. I’m blessed to pedal decline and on the flat: but back I’m annoyed a aberration of the handle anchor will accelerate me zooming off at up to 15mph. And, unlike a scooter, it can be parked anywhere.

Electric bikes cost from around £370 to more than £2,500; the more you pay, the better the build, motor and battery (choose a lithium battery: lighter, with greater staying power). A typical charge will give around 20 miles of combined pedalling and electric power, depending on hills.

One last piece of advice: ignore the stares of other cyclists, but have the grace not to overtake them uphill without at least pretending to be pedalling.
